The Dragon Breath & Mindfullness
This is a deep breathing technique with mindfulness. It's purpose is to help you with focus, impulse control and self awareness. Everybody benefits from doing this and it can also be used to help you fall asleep.
The Dragon Breath was named that because young clients often describe what they feel inside as a "volcano in my tummy." Volcanoes put out fire and smoke, and that's what Dragons breath out!
Since learning this from a yogi in 2010, I have learned that it is also taught as "Combat Breathing" in boot camp and in the Phoenix Police Academy. For people from 5 to 105 years old!
