 Psychology Today

My specialties as a therapist are Trauma or ADHD in children and adults. I work in the Mesa and Gilbert areas of Arizona. I have experience in many other areas of counseling including pre-marital, marriage, parenting, and more.

My approach to therapy is "Brief Solution Focused Therapy."  Usually this involves using coping skills with an emphasis on deep breathing, mindfulness and meditation. I use trauma informed approaches (EMDR) for trauma and PTSD. I work with people of all faiths, sexual orientations and ethnic backgrounds. I believe human beings are made up of body, soul and spirit; and that you must attend to all three to have good mental health.

I have been married for over 40 years to my high school sweetheart. We have raised 3 boys that are all married, and we now have 7 grandchildren.
