Hi! I’m Tanya, and I am here to listen. Having been on my own personal journey towards healing, from a young age understand how life can often be difficult and hard to navigate. I believe that we all have it within us to grow and overcome these obstacles and live a fulfilling life. Therapy is a challenging, yet warm process that entails self-reflection and honest conversations. I will help you reach your goals in a supportive space where you feel safe.  

 

I have experience working with individuals, adolescents, children, and families. My background as a school counselor has enabled me to work with a diversity of clients. We will help you discover what you feel, your strengths, that you can help yourself, and to discuss the steps in healing.

• Trauma, anxiety, depression, self-worth, life transitions, stress, women’s issues, men’s issues, relationships and marital concerns, and non-traditional relationships.
 

My approach to therapy offers: 

• Person-centered, Trauma-Informed, Strength-Based, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. 
 

I am a wife and mother of three. My own personal history of growing up in a family that was dealing with addiction, trauma, and mental health issues has given me empathy and specific insight developed through firsthand experience. These experiences have shaped me as an individual and as a counselor. Having graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master’s Degree with Honors from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, I have the skills and qualifications to help.
