Amy Schroeder is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) for Help and Hope Counseling, PLLC, providing clinical mental health therapy services from the Sierra Vista, AZ office.

I believe in the value of relationships and sees the therapeutic connection between clients and therapists as an avenue toward healing and growth. I approach therapy from a client centered perspective, meaning I apply my training and skills in flexible and adaptive ways to support and explore the needs of clients.

 

I approach counseling from a place of encouragement and empathy. My therapeutic foundation is shaped and influenced by existential and Adlerian theoretical tenets. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems strategies as frameworks for understanding and exploring what you are facing and gently encouraging and sharing space as you move toward healing and wellbeing.

 

Meaning and purpose in our lives helps to ground and encourage us to find our place in the world as well as helping us to thrive.

• Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.  

• Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
