Psychology Today
My name is Ariel Asermelly, and I am currently a Licensed Associate Counselor. I was born and raised in Arizona and have always had a passion for helping others. I completed my Masters degree at Grand Canyon University, which allowed me to apply my strengths and qualifications within the behavioral health field. I ensure a safe environment with understanding, support, guidance, and encouragement for all clients. Areas of expertise surround forms of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma. My approach is person-centered while providing solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy depending on how best to cater to needs and goals. I enjoy working with diverse populations and strive to aid those who are in need and are ready to heal and overcome, change and grow, or simply vent and express themselves. Some personal hobbies involve spending time with family and friends, reading various books, watching intriguing movies and shows, staying active, and of course, practicing critical self-care!
